April 2017

Spring break fun!
We had a very full and fun week for Spring Break.

St. George
Day 1-3: We spent the weekend in St. George with friends Jake and Nicci and their kids Raine, Decker & Pepper.

Happy Anniversary to us at Wendy's for dinner on our way to St. George.

Day 4:  We had lots of friends over to play!

Day 5: We went swimming with Paxton's buddy, Henry.

And went to the Lego store for a mini Lego build and I caved and bought some Lego's for the boys.

Day 6: I had to work, but the boys got to go to Tracy Aviary with some friends.

Day 7: Dinosaur museum with cousin Jake.

And an evening at Wheeler Farm with Lilo.

(last day) Day 8:  The Train Shoppe

My silly Graham that likes to catch bugs, eat nutella toast and make us laugh.

I love seeing this kids love for books.  Right now I think he loves looking at the pictures more than reading, but now that he is reading better I think he gets curious about what is happening in the pictures so he will end up reading it.

We bought a new car!! We wanted something with a third row so we could have friends in the car, but also to be able to tow our tent trailer so we could go camping whenever we wanted.

I love it when I find my kids looking at the family scrapbooks make.

Kitties!

Rems cousins cat had kittens. We couldn't pass up going to play with them. But we made sure to go on a day that Paxton was school because he was NOT interested. Graham and I loved playing with the kitties, they were so adorable!

Dentist visits... both cavity free!

This was actually Paxton's school project, but graham was more interested in helping out. Paxton had to create a product and give his store a name and then they had "mall day" in class and bought and sold items. We made geodes in all different shapes, even some necklaces. Paxton named it Geode Town. We had fun getting creative and making quite a few geodes. I thought we would've had tons extra, but he actually was the first one in class to completed sell out!

Happy Easter!

4 Easter egg hunts?!  I would say my kids are spoiled!
We started out at Grandpa and Grandma Sorensons on Saturday for birthday celebrations and an Easter egg hunt.  Lots of grand kids equals lot of eggs!

Then Easter morning the kids woke up to their Easter baskets.  We failed to hide eggs the night before because I usually like to focus Easter morning more on Christ and then the Easter bunny comes while we are at church.  But 1:00 church makes this hard because there is no time after church because we are rushing to Grandma's house.  So we hid the eggs while the kids ate lunch.  We also had plenty of time in the morning to color eggs as well!

Looking handsome in their new Easter clothes!

After church we went to Grandpa and Grandma Moss' house.  We had a delicious dinner and then a HUGE Easter egg hunt, mostly because of how big their yard is.  The kids each had to search for their own color which made the hunt last longer that they couldn't just pick up the first 20 eggs they saw.  Graham couldn't wait to get into those eggs and start eating all the candy!  They also got some fun little toys.

While the adults were hiding the eggs, Grandma had all the kids inside talking about the story of the Crucifixion and the Resurrection.  When we went in to get them my mom said she was very impressed with how well Paxton knew the story, he even corrected her on a few facts of the story (it was his third time hearing it that day).

So fun to be able to hang out with cousins!

I sure love this family of mine and I'm so grateful that I have them forever!

Natural Curiosity Museum
Sandee had her baby the day before Easter so the day after Easter we took Jake to the Museum to play.  He got lots of fun play dates with cousins that week.

Then I snuck away to go meet the new little one.  I loved going to visit my newest nephew, Kaleb.  This is my brothers second boy.

Family Night Bowling
Bowling with these two crazies, sure was a lot of fun!
