Grandma's Annual Halloween Party
Every year we get together with all my cousins and have a party at my Grandma's.  We dress up, have dinner, and carve pumpkins.  This is one of my favorite parties of the year!

My cute little dragon.

Our little monster

 It's Halloween time!!
I went to Gardner Village with my Mom one day to do some shopping, so I put Paxton in his Halloween shirt and we went around and looked at the witches.

Paxton kept trying to eat the hay and then he would pull a silly face.

birthday weekend

My birthday was on Saturday the 23rd.  On Friday we went out to dinner with my family.
I got to enjoy a yummy dessert!
This cute boy was the center of attention :)

Daniel (my sister's boyfriend) and I are birthday buddies- the EXACT same birthday (year included). We were confusing our waiter saying that we were twins, but that he didn't belong to my parents. Poor waiter.

On Saturday I had to work, but my sweet husband made the day better by surprising me with flowers.  It was great, thanks babe!  Then after work I came home to that cute birthday sign at the top of the page.  If you can't read the last word, it says mommy.  Remi helped Paxton write it... so cute!  Then we took Paxton to the sitters house and we were off to dinner and a movie.

After watching that movie, we were very anxious to pick up Paxton, it made us miss him.

It was a GREAT birthday!!

7 months

Some things about Paxton...

*He's got two teeth!  This was the only picture I could find with his teeth showing.

*He had his first ear infection.  It took us 3 nights of him not sleeping well at night for us to realize it.  Mostly because he was on some new medication for acid reflux.

*Saying 'dadada' all the time and sometimes it comes out sounding like 'hi da'

*Loves to lift his arms in the air and open & close his right hand.  And he still shakes his head 'no' all the time.  Now he knows he is being funny :)  LOVE IT!!

*Still just rolling everywhere, but starting to scoot himself backwards.

*Knows how to through a fit by throwing his head back!

*Loves to eat those cheese puff things.  This is how we keep him quiet at church :)

*LOVES to take his medicine (amoxicillin and tylenol).  He opens his mouth right up and wants more and more!

Just some random photos...

I had to get some pictures in his bathrobe because he never wears it.

Cute pajama boys!  Keaton, Paxton & Tyson

He was completly asleep.

 Maya & Paxton lunch time.

Crossing his feet while sleeping :)

Families can be together Forever

"I have a family here on earth.

They are so good to me.

I want to share my life with them through all eternity.

Families can be together forever.

Through Heavenly Father's plan.

I always want to be with my own family.

And the Lord has shown me how I can.

The Lord has shown me how I can."
-from the Children's song book

“Whatsoever you seal on earth shall be sealed in heaven; and whatsoever you bind on earth, in my name and by my word, saith the Lord, it shall be eternally bound in the heavens”
 (D&C 132:46).

Sacred ordinances and covenants available in holy temples make it possible for individuals to return to the presence of God and for families to be united eternally.

What an amazing day!  We are so grateful for the opportunity to be able to go to the the temple and have Paxton sealed to Remi and I as an eternal family.  After the sealing one of the temple workers asked me how Paxton did, I told her that he did great and was all smiles, but I was crying probably along with almost everyone else in the room.  It was such an amazing feeling when Paxton's grandma brought him into the sealing room and then holding him in our arms.  It feels so great to finally be an eternal family.

We are so grateful to have this gospel in our lives and how much happiness it brings us.  I know that our Heavenly Father loves us and wants to bless us and make us happy.  He has blessed our lives!  We are so grateful to have Paxton in our family, he brings us so much joy, what a sweet little boy!!

bodily functions

Paxton is getting his 2nd tooth!  It just popped through a couple of days ago, you can barely see it (obviously not in these pictures).  With Paxton's first tooth it was a complete surprise when it came because he wasn't fussy at all.  This one has been a little different.  He has been a little fussy, but not bad and it only lasted a couple of days and usually only when I put him down for a nap.

These pictures below were taken at the Riverton Hospital-Primary Children's outpatient Center
They had a make and take it in the waiting room, so we made Paxton a hat :)
The reason we were there was to get some x-rays on Paxton's chest and he had to drink this flavored chalk so they could watch it go down.  We are trying to figure out his wheezing.  We finally saw a Pulmonary doctor and she had no idea what his wheezing is, but she did say that it's not normal and it's not asthma or allergies.  The tests came back normal and the next step was to take him to Primary's and put him under anaesthesia and put a scope down his throat so they can see what's going on, but this made us nervous.  So she suggested to treat him for Acid Reflux, so after doing a little research we decided to go ahead with it.  He just started his medications today and we should be able to tell within a week or so if it's helping.
Here is a video that I watched when doing some research that helped me think that there is a possibility that this could be acid reflux.  If your interested...

Overall Paxton is doing great, he is a happy and healthy boy!  I thought it was funny when the Pulmonary doctor saw Paxton we brought a couple of video's of him wheezing just in case he wouldn't do it there and the doctor said, 'If you didn't bring these video's in, I would have laughed at you guys and said you were crazy because he just seems to be breathing great and is so healthy!'

Here is a video of him wheezing.  This is when it's bad, most other times it's just a little squeaking noise.

dadadada

Showing off his first tooth!
Paxton started saying 'dadadada' recently and Remi just LOVES it!  It's super cute, I love it too.  He also recently started smacking his lips when he eats and clicking his tongue :)  This kid makes us SMILE!!
