Paxton is already telling me 'no'!  Ha ha!!

 I was at my Aunt Debbie's house the other day when she heard Paxton toot and she said "I heard that" and he shook his head 'no'.  Then she continued to ask him questions and he kept doing it, finally I got the last one he did on video.  So funny!!!

 It is so fun to get Paxton & Maya together!  They are just so stinkin' cute!!

 It was so cute, we just had the babies lying on the floor and Lilo I guess was feeling left out ;)  We find Lilo laying next to Paxton alot, they are going to be best buddies.

is to play on the trampoline with Paxton.

 

Paxton loves to bounce and it's fun to just lay out there and enjoy being outside.  Paxton loves to be outside!

5 months

 Man!   They really do grow up fast, I know I'll probably say this every month, but I can't believe Paxton is already 5 months old.  He is growing up to be such a cute little boy.  I just LOVE his smile, it brightens my day!

What are some things Paxton is doing at 5 months?

*He loves to eat!  He has also tried squash now and loves it.

*The past week or so he has been waking up way too early in the morning (usually around 4, but sometimes 2).  But he wakes up just talking to himself and then it will go to crying, so I give in and go give him his binkie and he goes right back to sleep.

*He has rolled over both ways, but prefers to roll from his back to his stomach.  He doesn't do it tons yet.

*He loves to go for walks and just be outside!

*He reaches out for everything and it goes straight into his mouth. 

* He likes to put things on his head, I'm always pulling things off and playing pick-a-boo with him.

* He is sitting up alot now.  I still have to watch him though or put pillows behind him because he still falls over.

*He likes to hold on to our hands and stand up.

* He LOVES his daddy!!  Remi can get him to smile so easily, pretty much everytime he tries.  He does give his momma lots of smiles, but sometimes I have to really work for it.  He has started giggling a little more, but he's still wheezing.  I'm not really worried about it though, I really think he's just trying to find his voice.

I love putting these posts together because looking at these pictures make me smile.  And I always have Remi come read the post before I publish it to make sure I didn't forget anything and he just gets a big grin on his face and we talk about how much we love this boy and how stinkin' cute he is!

Oh and I just wanted to add this because I thought it was cute...

When we were at the Ranch, my cousins little girl that is 4 years old said to me while looking at Paxton, "I like his big lips!"  I just thought that was funny that out of all his facial features she said his lips :)  So cute!

green beans!!

Paxton is getting the hang of this and now likes his green beans, I can't wait to try another flavor and see his reaction :)

 This boy is a messy eater!  He wants to stick his hand in his mouth after every time he takes a bite.

We tried to feed Paxton some green beans for the first time tonight.  He didn't seem to like if very much, he kept giving me that face :) 

i love my family

I love looking at pictures of my cute little family and I can't help to think about how grateful I am of Paxton's wonderful birth-mother, Ciara.  She truly is a strong and amazing woman!  We are so blessed to have this sweet boy in our family.

It's amazing how quickly they change!  I posted things he was doing at 4 months and just 2 1/2 weeks later some of those are different.  So here's a few new things...

*Now is taking 8 oz. bottles along with rice cereal once a day

*Has rolled over both ways, but still only does it occasionally

*Is starting to sit up by himself for about a minute or so!

*He still doesn't laugh that much.  I think he's trying to laugh because he wheezes alot and it's usually when he's excited or being tickled or something.  The doctor doesn't know what to think about the wheezing.

*Likes to make farting noises with his tongue.

*Holds his feet... I LOVE this!!

Which end is that noise coming from?! Ha Ha  I love this boy, he cracks me up!

Paxton is growing up too fast, but we are loving every minute of it!

When to start rice cereal?  Our plan was to wait until after the Ranch and after his doctor's appointment so we could get some guidance from the doctor, but...

we were too impatient or Paxton was?!
Everytime we sat down to eat, Paxton wanted to be on our laps with his mouth open and reaching for the food, I think he was ready :)

Remi drove 2 hours to the nearest grocery store and 2 hours back to buy some rice cereal, what a good dad!  And it was worth it, Paxton LOVED it!!

He was part of the entertainment for the evening.  It was fun to share this moment with a bunch of family!
