After my last post, you might think that by the title of this post it would be another Lion King reference, but it is not. So my previous church calling I was on the Emergency Preparedness Committee, the block captain specialist. This was not my favorite calling, but I tried to do my best. Well I got a new church calling a couple weeks ago and I guess my best work got me the new position of the Leader over the Emergency Preparedness Committee! What?! I feel very inadaquate to be in this position, but I will do my best to fulfill it. So speaking of fulfilling my calling I just wanted to inform everyone about the Utah Shake Out that is coming up! I encourage everyone to take some time to participate to help prepare yourself a little bit better in case there is an Earthquake. I guess this is a good calling for me, because it will at least get me better prepared, but hopefully I can help some others as well ;)

I try to post some helpful things every once in a while to help us all get better prepared (some of the stuff more applys to my neighborhood).

WOW. Thanks for that...even though we don't live there. It makes me want to get my food storage and water storage figured out. Scary.
