Guinea Pigs
For Graham's birthday we decided to let him get a pet.  We thought it would be good for him.  We decided on  Guinea Pigs after a little research.  Although I didn't research them enough because I didn't realize how much the eat and poop!  But Graham was really happy and I have really grown to love them too.

We got two because we heard they did better in pairs.  Their names are Snickers and S'mores.  We bought them from another family that couldn't care for them any longer.  So it was super nice that they came with their cage and all the stuff they needed.

Graham was over the moon happy to have them and wanted to show them to everyone.

Paxton's Pandemic Piano Performance

Paxton had a piano recital and was only able to bring one guest.  I was sad I couldn't be there for him, but I got to watch it later on a video.  He did a great job!

Masks!
My mom made the boys some Jazz masks, they sure loved them!

Happy 7th Birthday Graham!

Since Graham already got his big birthday present a week ago and since we are in a pandemic and couldn't be with family and friends, we had to try and make the day special for him.  We made him a candy bar poster which he LOVED.  What kid doesn't love candy?!

He wanted a dragon birthday so we started the day off with dragon shaped pancakes made by his artistic dad.  I decorated the house with some printed out dragons which he thought was great.  He then got to open a few smaller presents.  Then he chose McDonalds for lunch and had a picnic with his guinea pigs while wearing his dragon shirt.  Then later we had his best friend, Zoey over for an outdoor movie... Pete's Dragon.  It was a great day celebrating this awesome kiddo!

This little one is starting climb into everything.  Looks like I'll have to dishes while she sleeps.

Happy Mother's Day
Mother's Day was different this year with no church.  For Mother's Day I wanted everyone to get in church clothes so we could get some cute pictures.  They weren't super happy about it, but they did it for me.  They got me flowers for the yard and Rem was super on top of it and already planted them!  This is the best gift because I don't love picking out flowers and planting them.  It's just not my thing.  Then later we were supposed to go to my moms for dinner, but Harper had a weird rash so we weren't sure what to do.  Me and the boys ended up going and Rem stayed home with Harper.  It was nice to see my family, but I missed having Rem and Harper there with us.

Happy Birthday Mom!

My mom turned 60 and we wanted to do something bigger than normal for her.  She's not one to love big parties and lots of people which was fine because the pandemic really didn't allow for that anyways.  We first took her to the zoo that morning.  Then later we surprised her with a family bbq in my parents backyard.  We went big on the decorations and got her 60 water bottles with everyone writing things they loved about her on the.  We played a game where we learned more about her.  We had a yummy dinner and just enjoyed the family.  She loved it!

Cousins

We met up with some Sorenson cousins for a walk to see the Zebra.  It was nice to get out of the house and see some new faces.

Baby Hailee
My brother and his wife had a baby girl!  I'm so excited for them to grow their family and now they have 2 boys and a girl, just like us.  She is so darling and I feel so lucky that I got to go over and hold her even if I did have to wear my mask.  This Pandemic makes life interesting.

We have decided to do a little updating on the front of our house.  Here we are re-doing the bay window.  I'm so excited!!

Memorial Day
We decided to take the kids to visit my grandpa's graves.  We first picked up some dinner and had a picnic at a random park and then we went to the cemetary and began the hunt.  We thought we knew about where my grandpa was, but it was taking too long searching for it so we finally asked someone.  It was fun to sit down and tell my kids stories about my grandpa's.  I sure do miss them, they were such good men.  Harper just wanted to pick all the flowers.  And she wasn't very happy when we wouldn't let her do it.  It was a nice evening and I'm glad we did it.

Fit Fun Run
We did our own fit fun run this year with our next door neighbors.  I rode my bike with Harper in the trailer because I thought I'd hold them back.  Graham is my runner!  He loves it and he was by far the fastest one.  Paxton and Kai were soooooo slow, I had to keep telling them to run.  We ended our run by the school where they were having a teacher drive-thru to wave and say hi.  We walked through and saw the kids teachers.  It was fun for them to see them, they miss them so much!  We then picked up school lunch and sat by the school playground and ate before heading home.

Aunt Jamie's House
We had a fun evening hanging out with cousins. The kids played on the play set, ran around, we played some four square and more.  Then both Harper and Jack got in pajamas and we realized that Jack was wearing Paxton's old jammies and Harper was wearing Lucy's.  It was so cute that we wanted a picture, but those littles were not having it.  It was bed time!

Sure love this sweet little girl!
