Harper is 2 months!
9 lbs
21 1/2" long
This little girl is starting to make some really cute noises and she smiles at anyone that smiles at her. She gets really excited and kicks her legs a lot! She doesn't love tummy time for very long, but she is holding her head up pretty good. Harper is a really good sleeper and now is sleeping 9-10 hours at night, I am super grateful for this! She turns her head to the side a lot when she sleeps so instead of getting a bald spot on the back of her head (which did eventually come), she's mostly getting them on the sides of her head. She's getting quite the hair-do. Her big brothers sure love her so much and anytime I ask them to watch her while I take a shower or something they don't even hesitate to help out. They like to lay near her feet and wait for her to kick them in the face which makes them crack up laughing and saying things like "ninja kick, hi-ya". I love watching them interact with their baby sister.
Happy 6th Birthday Graham!
38 lbs. 10%
43 1/2" tall 20%
We started the day off with balloons in his bedroom, new sugary cereal (I don't buy the super sugary cereals, so this is a treat for them) opening presents and then after school we went to the aquarium with some cousins. After the aquarium, Graham picked to go to Chuck-a-Rama for his birthday dinner, his cousins joined us. He sure had a fun birthday and his is looking forward to his birthday party!
Desert Star
We went to a play at Desert Star and had 2 extra tickets so we let the boys each invite a friend. They loved having friends join!
Welcome Home
We went to the airport to welcome home the kids cousins all the way from Australia! They moved back and we are so glad! The cousins were excited to have someone welcome them, but they were also very tired, that's a long flight!
Happy Mother's Day
It's amazing how much your love can grow and make room for more. I remember having just Paxton and loving him so much, how could I possibly love another child as much as him and then it just happens. I feel so lucky to have these three little people that call me mom. I look back to when we had no kids and how it felt like it would never happen with the struggles we were going through and now I am so amazed and blessed to have these 3 and look how big they are getting! Being a mom is the best and hardest thing, but I am so grateful to be one!
I am also grateful for my own mom and how much she has taught me, been an example to me and loved me. We had a yummy dinner which the men all cooked and cleaned at my parents house. Then we left early and met up with the Sorensons for dessert. Rems mom sure is sweet and has so much love for all her many grand kids, we sure are grateful for her too!
This little peanut sure makes us smile!
Graham's birthday Party
Graham wanted a puppy adoption party. He had fun doing the shopping with me and picking out all the puppies and things for the party. The kids each got to pick out a Beanie Boo puppy and fill out an adoption paper and name their puppy. Then they got to decorate a dog house for it and make a collar. They then took their puppies through an obstacle dog training course. Afterwards they ate dog treats, drank toilet water and had "paw" cakes. Graham had so much fun!
Kindergarten Graduation
I can't believe my little boy is graduated from Kindergarten! They put on a cute show and Graham said his line very well. He was excited to show me his butterfly that he made. I love this kids excitement for things! Afterwards I took him out to lunch, his choice and of course he chose McDondalds. Not a place I like to go, but I took him anyway.
Fit Fun Run
This was Graham's first Fit Fun Run and he's been so excited for it for years! I made Rem go with him, one because I recently had a baby but also because this kid likes to run and I was not going to be able to keep up with him. I cheered the boys on when they ran past our house. Rem ran with Graham and did one mile and Paxton ran with his friends and they did 2 miles.
Memorial Day Weekend in St. George
Trevor and Sandee had a weekend trip planned to St. George and decided to invite us to come along. Even though we had recently been, we decided to go. I'm glad we did, we had a lot of fun! Grandma Sorenson and Aunt Becky helped babysit while we went on a double date to the play The Little Mermaid at the Tuachan theater, it was amazing! We went back to Gunlock falls to play in the water, Jamie and her family met up with us. We hung out around the house, went swimming, did bb guns and water guns, went for walks and climbed the red rocks at Dixie Rock. It was the perfect weekend getaway.
