April 2019

Just hanging out with cousin Joelle.  I hope these two grow up to be good friends!

Newborn Photos
Here's a couple newborn pictures my sister did for me that I absolutely love!  The first one tells our In Vitro story of bringing this sweet baby into our family.  She was worth every shot and every pill and every penny!

1 month old
Harper has been such a joy in our home!  We all just adore her and could just sit and watch her every move.  She gives lots of sleepy smiles and I believe we've seen a few real smiles!  She is the best sleeper day and night!  At night she gives us a 5-8 hour stretch, it's great!  And she even puts herself to sleep most of the time, although I do love to snuggle and rock her.  She is still a noisy sleeper and is still sleeping in our room, but it's kind of nice to know she's alive.

She loves to nurse and grunts when she is hungry.  She has tried one bottle and took about an ounce, but she still prefers mom.  We keep trying the binkie and sometimes she will take it, but still not a lover of it.

Packing up Grandpa's office
My dad sold the family business, Chuck-a-Rama a few months ago and has still been working there, but less and less.  He finally was ready to clean out his office because he's not in there very much.  So we all came to help him pack it up and try to keep it fun because it has not been easy on him selling the business.  The kids all had a blast picking out a car from his many shelves of cars and they all came home with loads of Chuck-a-Rama pens, flash lights and all sorts of trinkets.  Us moms were all super happy about that ;)

The girl cousins
Lucy finally got 2 girl cousins on the Moss side.  There are now 6 boys and 3 girls.  Joelle and Harper and wearing their twiner outfits.

Visiting GG Soderberg
My Grandma's living center had an Easter event where they had live animals you could pet and they also had an Easter Egg hunt, but we missed it.  It was fun to see the animals and of course it was great to be able to visit with GG, we even got to see my Aunt Debbie and Kristi's kids Maya, Dre and Avery.

Beautiful Blossoms
My sister Jamie had a photo shoot at the Capitol with all the beautiful blossoms.  I decided to go with her and help her out with Jackson.  I walked around with Jack in the stroller and Harper in a carrier.  It was so pretty and great weather.  The babies did pretty good and then I got to hangout with my sister afterwards.  We went and picked up some drinks and went to visit Ali (Egan) Hill.  It was fun to sit and chat.

Happy Easter
Easter morning the kids got to open their Easter baskets.  The boys got new ties to wear to church and Harper got a new dress and bows.  And of course they got treats.  Then we went to church and had a nice meeting.  When we got home there were Easter Eggs hidden all over the front yard.  The boys raced around to find the eggs, Paxton was a good brother and helped Graham find some since he had more than him.  Later we dyed some hard boiled eggs and enjoyed eating them for lunch (except Paxton, he's allergic).  Afterwards we went Grandpa and Grandma Moss' house for dinner and another Egg hunt.  Grandma talks to the kids about the Resurrection while the men hide the eggs.  Then it's time for the chaos!  It's always fun to hunt for eggs in Grandma's yard because it's huge and Grandma does tons of candy, money and toys.  The kids had a blast and they each made $15-20!

The day after Easter we got to celebrate again with the Sorenson cousins at the Kimball house.  There are so many boy cousins, it gets a little crazy!

Soccer
Graham is excited for soccer season to start back up.  He loves to run fast!

Pinewood Derby
We were excited that Paxton got to participate in the last Pinewood Derby.  By the new year there will no longer be a scout program in the church.  We are anxious to find out what the new program will be, but for now we are enjoying scouts.  Rem was super excited to help Paxton build his car.  He also helped Graham build one even though Graham was too young to participate.  So they built Graham's for speed and put a battery propeler on it so it was super fast and he got to race it after all the races were done.  It was lightning fast and Graham thought it was the best thing ever!  Paxton's car started off well, but then he got passed up.  I think he ended up getting 9th place out of about 30 cars, so not bad.  He did win best paint job, so he was excited about that.  One of his good buddies, Zach, took first place!
