End of the school year party at our new neighbors house. Graham hung out near me most of the time because there were a TON of kids there. Paxton on the other hand, I barely saw him. He is such a social kid and had blast going from trampoline to water slide to the hot tub. It was hard to get him to leave.
We went to the library to see the balloon dragon and start the summer reading program.
Rem and I have finally decided to start the IVF process again after our failed cycle 3 years ago. I'm all ready to begin my shots! I will start out with 3 shots a day and then after a few days I add a fourth one. I have already been on birth control, Metformin and some other vitamins and supplements. The past month I've been pretty sick from taking Metformin. It's normally a med for diabetics so it lowers your blood sugar, but it helps with IVF to not over stimulate. It has made me so sick this time to the point of feeling nauseous every day and a few of the days curled up in bed and needing to be near a bathroom all day. It was not fun. My body eventually got used to the Metformin and I wasn't so sick anymore. After the shots were over after going to the doctor 3 days in a row for ultrasounds and blood draws, I was finally ready for my egg retrieval.
I was so ready to get those eggs out of me! My ovaries felt so enlarged. One of the days was so bad that I felt third trimester pregnant in my ovary, I was waddling around at church. The day of retrieval was pretty rough and I was pretty much in bed all day feeling sore. But they retrieved 20 eggs! We were excited about that! A few days later we found out that 18 were mature and 15 fertilized.
IVF Transfer Day
June 20th was finally our transfer day. We went in to find out that we had 1 awesome B2+ embryo and 2 B2 embryos, the rest were still dividing. The doctor said the highest quality is a B1, so ours was just below that and they actually have more success with the B2+. So we just put the one in that day and froze the other 2 along with any others that made it. (The next day we found out that only 1 other made it to freeze, so we have 3 on ice).
The transfer was pretty quick and went smoothly. They don't do bed rest anymore after the transfers, but I still wanted to take it easy for a few days. I still was up and around the house and went on a few walks, but I did lots of relaxing too. Now we just had to wait 2 weeks to find out if it worked. Longest 2 weeks ever!!
Our kids and families all know we are going through this and have been a great support. Today the kids spent the day at Grandma's house, they actually slept over night and then we picked them up later that day. It was nice to come home to peace and quiet for a while.

The kids were waiting for the dentist to come check their teeth and were both watching the movie on the ceiling. The dentist was awesome and let them both stay in the chair. No cavities for these boys!!
Paxton went to a basketball camp with his buddies Ender and Colin. He really has taken to a liking to basketball recently!
Classic Fun Center
We went to Classic Fun Center with some friends and spent 5 plus house there! We bought the full pass so the kids could do everything including the outdoor water slides. They had a blast! Pax was such an awesome brother and helped Graham with his first time doing laser tag. I think Graham's favorite spot though was jumping off the bounce house wall into the pit. He did it over and over and over again. It was a good day, but I was exhausted!
Natural History Museum
Jamie, Sandee and I took the kids to the museum where they saw lots of different things. Graham drew this Pterodactyl with out looking at anything, I was quite impressed! They had a fun time playing with their cousins.
Graham's Upstart Graduation
Graham did the Upstart preschool program this year. It really helped him how to sound out words and put them together. Even though it was hard at times getting Graham to do his Upstart (20 minutes a day on the computer) it was well worth it! I am so proud of him and all he has learned. He will definitely be ready for Kindergarten.
His cute friend Elly Goodman graduated the same day as him.
Happy Father's Day
These boys sure are lucky to have this guy as their dad! They sure do adore him and love hanging out with him. I love watching them spend time together.
Usually for Father's Day we are having dinner with the extended family, but this year my dad had to work and Rem's dad was in St. George. So we did our own thing for dinner, Rem's favorite, chicken cord on bleu. Then later we went to my parents house for dessert.
We sure are lucky to have this guy in our lives! He is the most selfless, giving and loving man I know! I sure love my dad!
Fun at Grandpa and Grandma's House
My dad is always doing something for his kids, helping us out with whatever we ask of him. So all of my siblings decided we wanted to serve him. So we all went over one day and the men all helped do yard work and help put in the flower beds while the women watched all the kids play and made lunch.
The kids and all 3 dogs had a blast playing in the water! I think Lilo especially loved it the most. She was constantly in the water and waiting for all the kids to spray her. It was pretty funny to watch!
Clark Planetarium and Gateway Splash Pad
We went to the Planetarium with Jamie, Lucy and Lincoln and explored all the space and weather stuff they had. We also saw one of the 3D IMAX shows about birds, it was pretty cool.

Afterwards we walked over to the splash pad and let the kids play in the water on a hot day.
The day didn't end super great as it ended in Graham pooping his pants!

Happy Birthday Rem!
It's fun to celebrate daddy. He had already bought himself a new chop saw, so we got a few other presents like a new shirt, lego's and oreo's. We both had to work that day, but got off a little early. We took my cousin and Kyle and his wife Miranda to Desert Star Playhouse for dinner and show. It was a lot of fun and Rem even got pulled up on stage to dance with "Richard Simmons". He was such a good sport and got right into it! It was pretty funny!

Scout Day Camp
Paxton was so excited to go to his first scout camp! It was 2 days, just during the day. He came home loving it the first day. The second day I got to go help, it was fun to watch him learn and interact with his friends. He loved the knife carving, sword fighting and archery the best! I had fun hanging out with him all day.
