July 2017

Aquarium
We took my Grandma (GG) and her sister-in-laws with us to the Aquarium.  It was very fun to see them enjoy it with the kids, but boy was that the longest I have ever spent at the Aquarium!  GG was so nice and bought each of the kids a stuffed animal from the gift shop afterwards.  They were super excited about that because I never let them get anything.

Water Slide
My Aunt Carolyn rented this huge water slide and invite all her grand kids and my dads grand kids for a water party.  The kids had a blast! Well most of them.  That slide even looked scary to me, it literally started out straight down, there was no slope at the beginning.  It took a little bit before Paxton would try it, but when he finally did he loved it and it was hard to get him to want to leave.  Graham on the other hand hated it and only did it the once.  I'm proud of him for at least trying it.

Picking Potatoes in Grandpa's garden and eating them, yum!  They even found one with a smiley face!  It was cute to see these two having fun together and enjoying their potatoes.

Summer nights are awesome!  We went for a little bike ride almost every night before bed, we even braved Lilo running along side us a few times.  The kids loved doing this and would not let us forget each night that we couldn't miss our bike ride.  Maybe Graham will be riding a bike by next year!

Paxton and I had a mom and son date night.  We went to the Murray pool in the evening and watched Moana.  I get a Mom award for this one because that water was not the warmest to be sitting in for 2 hours!  But I stuck it out, it was pretty fun!  Thank goodness, I found a spot that was pumping somewhat warm water.

Lake Tahoe
This was such an awesome trip and partly because it was a last minute decision and we didn't have to plan anything!  One Saturday I was out to lunch with some friends when one of them said they were leaving the next day to Lake Tahoe, which I then commented that I love that place.  She then somewhat serious said " you should come!  We have an extra room"  Well we did just that!  I went straight home talked to Rem, we made some phone calls for our work schedules and started packing.  We left the next day and the rest of the trip was a blast!  We went to the beach a few days, went on an awesome bike ride along the lake and river, went for a hike up to a beautiful view and more.  We also celebrated the 4th of July there with our friends and some of their family was staying nearby in this nice hotel which we got to use the pool.

We loved traveling with the Goodmans and can't wait to do it again!  Such a fun trip!

Graham was brave and even held a crawdad.

Days of 47 Parade

My Grandpa Moss was awarded the Pioneers of Progress Legacy Award. They had a big dinner honoring him and a few other people. Then they were also honored during the days of 47 parade on July 24th! They asked some of his grand kids to be on the trolley to represent him. It was such a cool and fun experience! We had fun waving at people and looking at all the other floats. I can't believe how long the parade is and how some people camp out for it! It was a lot of fun for us! I am so proud of my Grandpa!

24th of July neighborhood breakfast and bike parade
It's fun getting together with our neighbors and ward members for a yummy breakfast and watching the kids go around the loop on their decorated bikes.  Afterwards there are a few games set up that the kids had a good time playing around.

Bear Lake
We went camping for a couple nights with Jamie and Dan in Bear Lake at their KOA.  It was actually pretty nice because there was a pool, playground, tennis/pickle ball courts and more.  It ended up being a somewhat rainy weekend, but we made the best of it!

Family Pictures

I sure love these cute boys and I love having family pictures.  Although the getting prepared for family pictures is not always pleasant.  Of course both of my kids got scraped up before pictures.  Graham's was the worst and fell while were at the pool that morning and got a huge gash in his leg, hence the huge bandaid!  Paxton somehow scratched his eye, but it looks like that was fixed with Photo Shop, thank goodness for that!  But we will just have to deal with the bandaid in the pictures.
