We had some warm days in February so Graham and I spent one day at the zoo. It was a perfect day hanging out with my little Graham.
We went with cousins to The Puppy Barn and saw so many cute puppies! I think us moms enjoyed the puppies more than the kids did. They were sooo cute!
Valentines Day
We always send the kids on a red yarn hunt around the house to a hiding spot to find their presents. Pax got a small book to fit his Pokemon cards in with some more cards and Graham got some hot wheels and track (enough to go all the way down the stairs)! The boys each enjoyed Valentines Day at school while I prepared for the rest of the evening. We made sugar cookies when they got home and put hearts up all over the walls and then started preparing a fondue dinner for the missionaries. That's right, we had the missionaries over for Valentines Day. Let's just say I skipped the candlelight dinner thing this year. After dinner we enjoyed playing some around the world ping pong with the missionaries. It was a nice evening.
Tae Kwon Do
Paxton started Tae Kwon Do with his friend Amanda. They go three days a week and are loving it. They are learning some pretty cool moves.
St. George
We went to St. George for President's Day weekend with my sister, Jamie and her family. It was a nice little getaway even though we didn't quite escape to sunny weather. It rained most of the time we were there, but we still found time to go to the park twice, go hot tubing/swimming, go on a hike, play pickle ball and visit Dixie Rock.
The kids loved this fun new park called Thunder Junction. There was even a zipline and a volcano! There is a train too, but it wasn't running at the time we went.
We met up with our cousins Angie and Troy and their cute families to go on this fun hike to see some Hieroglyphs. The kids had fun climbing all over the rocks.
Graham insisted one day that his sandwich look like the one on the peanut butter jar with the smiley face.
I love the red rock, it's beautiful. Climbing all over Dixie rock and exploring is one of my favorite things to do in St. George.
Most of us stayed warm in the hot tub. Paxton and some of the other boy cousins were crazy enough to swim in the pool.
The Aquarium
One morning while Paxton was at school, I picked up some of my nieces and nephew and took them to the Aquarium. They were out of school and their parents both had to work. It was Olivia's first time and she loved it! They all had a lot of fun and then I took them back to my house to play with Paxton. Pax was really excited to have his cousins over to play with. It's a good thing we have a annual pass so we can go back to the aquarium whenever we want and hopefully with Pax next time.
Airborne
Paxton had a birthday party at this fun trampoline place, so Graham and I decided to stay and play. I never could get any pictures of Paxton because he was off playing with all his friends. But it was fun to hangout with Graham and do some fun jumping, great balancing and crazy climbing.
