Here are some random pictures from the month of August...
I read this book to Paxton and then he went back through it and told it to me from what he could remember, he did a pretty good job.
The boys wanted to climb up through the sun roof on the car.
We went to a splash pad park with some friends. The kids had a blast!
It's always fun and crazy in the bath tub.
Graham and Lilo laying by the back door.
Paxton and Graham eating apples, I thought Grahams apple looked funny the way he was eating it.
Graham got a hold of my phone and took a whole bunch of pictures of himself, there was even more than this.
Once Graham learned to climb out of his crib, we didn't want him to fall out so we changed it into a toddler bed. For the next several weeks he would cry by the door when we put him to bed. He would end up falling asleep by the door, so we would have to sneak in later on and put him in his bed. This was not an easy task because you could not open the door, so we'd have to slowly try to scoot him without hurting him.
Paxton and I had a date night. We first went to 7eleven and bought some slurpees and then we went to Murray Park and watched a movie outside. It was fun hanging out just the two of us!
Bruno
Bruno is my sister, Erika and Bens new puppy. We babysat him for almost a week while they were on vacation. There were definitely times that we were reminded of why we don't ever want to go through the puppy phase again. But he sure is cute and we all had fun with him too.
While he was here visiting Paxton came up with a nickname for him. We now call him Brunbacca like Chewbacca. My sister said they should have named him chewy because of the weird noises he makes. So Paxton came up with Brunbacca all on his own.

Silly Graham! He made me laugh so hard that he kept doing it over and over and over again. I have a bunch more pictures of him doing this.
A Sunday afternoon walk. Paxton thought the mountains were so pretty that he wanted to take a picture. So I made all the boys be in the picture also.
My sister Jamie just moved and has a peach tree in her backyard! Looks like this might become a tradition each year. We had a blast getting together and making peach jam, peach dessert, baby food, dried peaches and frozen peaches. And I may have eaten a few peaches during the process. It was a delicious day!
This kid has the best hair! People love touching his hair. I know I do! That's why we do crazy hair styles like this because I like to play around with his hair. He is such a goof ball and I love it! His shirt says it all ;)
Just playing. Graham loves to climb anything. And he loves trains. This green one is battery powered and he will follow it all over the house.
We got a new dog bed for Lilo, but I find the kids in it more often than the dog.
Another silly picture of this handsome kid.
At cousin Jakes super hero birthday party.
Cabin Getaway with friends
We invited our friends up to our family cabin for an overnight stay. We had a blast hanging out and riding four-wheelers! It was fun for Paxton to have some friends to play with. Ender is one of his good friends that lives just down the street from us.
This was Amy's first time driving a four-wheeler. She did a great job and loved it!
Neighborhood Carnival
It was so fun going to our neighborhood carnival and BBQ. It was quite the event and it was packed! They had some cool cars to look at. There was a bunch of little games for the kids to play, face painting (done by the Young Women) and even petting an alpaca!

Zoo
Farm Country
We went to Thanksgiving Points Farm Country. This was my first time coming here. It was fun to watch the kids enjoy all the animals. We went on a ride and the little ones rode on ponies. Paxton has this big fear of touching animals let alone getting on one. Even after watching other kids ride the ponies and see that they are hooked up and can't go anywhere other than in a circle and can't go fast, he still wouldn't go. So I didn't force it, even though I think he would have had fun if he tried. At least he had fun looking at all the animals.
Oops, I had to take a picture before we made the kiddos get off the fence.
Palisades
(I am missing some pictures)
We went camping at the Palisades in Manti, Utah with my parents and my brother and his family. When we first got there we set up camp and it was so hot that we decided to go to the lake. By the time we got there it cooled down and was a little windy. It looked like a storm was rolling in so we decided to head back and by the time we got back the sun was shining again. Oh well. We then had a BBQ and went to a high school football game that evening. The next day was a great day for being in the water. We first started out with a big breakfast at the golf clubhouse. Then we went on a long ATV ride. Then, while Paxton went golfing with the dads, Graham and I went to the lake with Sandee and Jake. Dan and Jamie and their kids met up with us and came out to the lake too. Afterwards we were all so tired that we decided to pack up and head home. It was a fun little getaway with the kiddos. While camping is a lot of work for the parents, I enjoy watching Paxton and Graham have fun and making memories with them.

It was super relaxing out on the lake and I loved getting to snuggle and play with my little Graham.
Discovery Gateway
We were trying to fit in a bunch of fun things before school started. So I took the kids to Discovery Gateway. Paxton LOVES this place and was so excited to go back! We got there when they first opened at 10:00, took a break and went to the mall food court for lunch then went back and stayed until 2:00 or so.

The ball station I would say was Grahams favorite spot.
And the construction site station was Paxtons favorite spot. They both could have stayed in these spots the whole time and be content. But I wanted them to see more so I moved them along. They had a ton of fun and Paxton later that day was already asking me when we could go back.
Paxton's first day of Kindergarten
I'm so excited for this kid to be going to kindergarten. He is so ready for it! I love watching him learn and grow. He was super excited to go to the big school and did great. He loved his first day. He said his teacher gave him 3 jobs at recess time, one of which was to make sure nobody got teased. He said that he saw some kids throwing sand at another kid so he went and stopped it. He was so proud of himself and so were we!
After the second day of school I asked him how his day was and he replied, "BEST. DAY. EVER!"
