Excited for the snow!
This is what he did when I told him to do a silly face.
Handsome boys all ready for church.
Super Cousins!
This is my Easter craft that I made for The Wood Connection blog, I love how it turned out!
Making Faces with Paxton
I'm an aunt again! My sister, Jamie had her second baby. Lincoln is so dang cute and I'm so lucky I got to be there. I was nervous that she asked me to be the photographer at the hospital. Luckily I did a pretty good job ;) See pictures here.
Preschool fieldtrip
I thought it was so cute when Paxton went up to this picture and knew exactly what a Tasmanian Tiger was. He surprises a lot with his knowledge on animals.
Happy St. Paxton's Day!!!
We were living at Grandma's house at the time, but we still did birthday balloons. The kids always have fun with the balloons. Can't believe this kid is already 5 years old!
Paxton was super excited about his ninja shirt, he thought it was super funny! This kid sure makes us happy. He is so full of character and makes us laugh everyday. Sure love this kiddo!
I let him choose where he wanted to go for his birthday lunch and he chose his favorite, Chuck-a-rama! It was fun to have GG Moss join us!
Birthday Party
Then later that day we had the best birthday party ever! We went back to our empty house that we just moved out of and had a nerf gun/foam sword party. I printed out pictures of bad guys and taped them to the walls and hung ninja masked balloons from the ceiling, invited a bunch of boys, turned on some music and let them go to town! I know Paxton was in heaven the whole time, he had a blast! It was the perfect birthday party for this awesome 5 year old! And how great it was to have an empty house to do it in!
They even sat on the floor to eat birthday cake. These boys were hilarious! It was so funny to watch them interact and hear them laughing at each others jokes (yes a lot of them were potty jokes). Crazy kids!

Birthday dinner
We went to a mexican restaurant for dinner and Pax got more spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa with some awesome ninja turtle toys! He was in heaven!
Family Pictures
I had my sister take some last photos of us in our first home before we moved. We lived in that house for 9 1/2 years, it was bitter sweet leaving it.

Getting ready to move...
Graham was really good at "trying" to be a good helper with packing up the house. Sometimes it actually was somewhat helpful, other times not so much.
My sweet Young Women came and helped me clean my house. They are so awesome, I will miss them a lot!
Here is my empty house...
On the last day I came and walked through it and took these last photos. I thought I would get emotional about it, but I didn't. All my stuff was out so it didn't feel like my home anymore. But as I started driving away out of the neighborhood, that's when I started to get emotional. I really loved my neighborhood and ward. It was such a great first home and we made some really great friends!
Jazz Game
Graham got tired and tried sleeping on the floor.
Happy 10 year Anniversary!
We originally were wanting to plan a vacation for just the two of us for our 10 year. But with purchasing a more expensive home we decided that buying a new home was a pretty great 10 year anniversary gift to us. So instead we planned a weekend away, just the 2 of us. We ate dinner at this fun place in Park City where we played pool and shuffleboard.
And then we drove up to Stein Erikson lodge where we were spoiled with this big beautiful room where we even had our own hot tub on the deck! My parents neighbor hooked us up and even left us a note and yummy treat in the fridge. It was definitely a much needed night away from the kids.
We explored the lodge. And the next morning we had a super fancy continental breakfast. This place was amazing!
We then drove into Heber where we went horseback riding. We told the people that we had some experience riding horses, but not tons. And they took us straight up a mountain hillside. It was a lot of fun, but coming back down was definitely more scary then going up. We had a great time spending time together just the two of us!
Excited for our new house!
So I realize this house looks like our previous one from the outside. I was hoping to find something different, oh well. I still like this one. More importantly we love the neighbor, location and it just felt right. We actually had an accepted offer on a home in South Jordan the night before we found this house, so we had a huge decision to make that weekend. It was a hard one because the South Jordan home was bigger, newer and move in ready, it was a beautiful home. Where as this one was more of a fixer upper, it's not too bad but we definitely wanted to make some changes. In the end we did what we felt was right and location was a HUGE factor! We are happy with our decision and are loving it here!

Graham came with us to sign lots and lots of papers!
