Summer fun in the backyard. Lilo always makes running through the sprinklers fun because she loves to join the kids and they have fun spraying her.
Bike rides at the church parking lot.
YELLOWSTONE/ISLAND PARK
My parents planned a vacation for the whole family to go camping in our trailers in Island Park. It was so beautiful there and we all had a ton of fun camping. The first night I wasn't so sure, but after that it was good. It's so fun to see the kids get excited about sleeping in their sleeping bags in the trailer together. And they love playing outside in the dirt, riding bikes, etc.
Hanging out with my cousin Brandon.
S'mores and sticks
Paxton learned to shoot a bow and arrow, his daddy was very proud!
Making airplanes with cousin Jake.
Fishing and hiking
We went to Yellowstone on two of the days. We saw Old Faithful first and then walked around and saw more geysers and hot pots. Paxton thought they were pretty cool at first, but the more and more we saw he got bored, "another one?" "again?" I loved it! This was my first time ever seeing Yellowstone, what a cool and beautiful place! Paxton did love it every time we saw animals though, especially the buffalo!
It is just too much for Graham. Silly kid, you're brother is being nice, he's just trying to hug you.
Lots of bike rides. Our hoods are not up because it's cold, they are up because of the amount of mosquitoes! Yuck!
Lots of rides on the UTV's!
More site seeing Yellowstone with Grandpa.
All the grandkids got to pick out a Yellowstone t-shirt.
This is all of us! My youngest sister and her husband were unable to come.
On the way home we stopped at Bear World. This was a lot of fun! We got to drive through and see lots of different animal and probably about 40+ bears.
The cubs were so dang cute and there was even a little petting zoo where we could pet deer, chickens, a pig, and goats. It was a struggle to get Paxton to even enter into the petting zoo, but he finally did and he did pet a deer after much bribing.
Happy Father's Day
We are so lucky to have such great and wonderful dad's in our lives!
Happy Birthday Remi
Rems birthday was on a Sunday. We had family over to our house for dinner and hanging out.
Bee's Game
One of my clients let us use his season pass to go to one of the games, he had awesome seats right behind home plate. It was fun being with the family at the game.
The Ranch
Here we are at the Ranch again, our heaven on earth! We were so excited to be able to come this year, we weren't sure if we would be able to because they've been trying to sell it for years. So this may have been our last time, I hope not!
It was so fun this year to find all these baby frogs! There were hundreds of them! One day we were out by the pond just hanging out, catching frogs and such when we learned that Paxton was putting them in his pocket. So we walked back to the creek to empty his pocket and counted them as he did. He had 20 frogs in his pocket, it was hilarious! There probably would have been even more if we didn't notice what he was doing.
Loving the warm pool! Lilo loves it too, not to be in it, but to get splashed and sprayed. She lives on the edge of the pool every time we went swimming. She even fell in once!
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!
At the Ranch we can't do fireworks, but we do go to the little town parade that usually consists of about 5 cars that drive around 2-3 times. And then in the evening we do sparklers, my cousin Tyson does fire poi and then we usually do glow sticks in the swimming pool. Lots and lots of glow sticks!
There were FIVE dogs this year at the ranch, 2 of which were puppies.
There was Maggie, Ruka, Lilo, Buddy & Bruno. They all had a ton of fun running free! It was fun to see them all interact.
I was painting Lucy's toes and fingernails one day and Graham didn't want to miss out on all the fun. His daddy wasn't very happy with me though. I chose a skin toned color though, so you couldn't even really tell that they were painted. Silly boy!
Lots of swimming! At least once a day if not twice.
UTV ride up to the "Sound of Music Hill" is what we call it. It is a gorgeous view and a fun ride!
We sure love the Ranch and are hoping it will still be around for next year!
