 After 7 years of marriage

 5 years of trying to get pregnant

 1 amazing adopted Paxton

68 injections of hormones (36 more to go)

lots of bruises

nausea

fatigue

1 migraine

We are finally pregnant!

and can't believe it!

 

It was all worth it, we are so excited to add to our family!  I am only 4 weeks along, I know it's early, but so many people knew we were going through the In Vitro process so we had to tell the good news!  I am actually feeling great now, but I've heard that most women don't feel sickness until a little later 4+ weeks of pregnancy, so I still may get the sickness.

We can't believe it actually came out positive that we did two tests!

 

On the 9th we went in for a blood test to confirm, they like to see your HCG levels above 100.  We had a 295!  And then today (2 days later) I went in again for another blood test and they want to see that number double to make sure things are progressing and we had a 711!  We feel so blessed and are so grateful for such wonderful family and friends and for all your support and prayers!  We pray that this pregnancy will continue go well and that those embryos will stay sticky :)

 

Oh yes, we ended up putting two in, so in a couple of weeks we will go in for an ultrasound to find out how many are in there!  We will keep you posted!

 

It was really cute, before we made the decision of putting in two we had a conversation with Paxton...

 

Us:  Do you want a baby brother and a baby sister?

Paxton:  No just one

Us:  Do you want a brother or sister?

Paxton:  a brother

Us:  do you want 2 baby brothers

Paxton:  no just one

 

Later after we transfered the two, we told him about it and occasionally we'll ask him...

Us:  What's in Mommy's tummy?

Paxton:  a baby, two babies

 

and occasionally he'll say...

lots of 'em

 

Ha, we sure hope there's not LOTS of them.  We are anxious though to find out how many!
