the ZOO

We went to the Zoo with my friend, Renee and her two kids.  I was excited to see the new addition!  It was a really nice addition, but I was kind of disappointed.  It looked like it was cleaning day because the water was all murky and you could barely see the one seal that was swimming around.  And then all the bears were sleeping and the sea otters weren't even out or at least you couldn't see them.  So I can't wait to go back and hopefully have a different experience.  I've heard that Polar Bear swims and plays in the water, that would be really fun to see!

And he hates the Carousel!  I know he use to hate it, but in Disneyland he went on one and loved it, so I thought he'd be fine.  Nope, I was wrong.  He just kept crying so we sat on this bench and I said to him, "You're being a sticker" and with his angry face, he looked up at me and firmly said, "NO, I'm Paxton!"  I couldn't help but laugh.

He's been in this phase lately that if you call him anything but his name he will tell us that he is Paxton!  Even sometimes when you tell him that he's cute.  Although the other day when I told him he was cute, he said, "no, I'm cool".
