Hiking
One evening we went on a short hike up Rocky Mouth Trail to see the waterfall. We took dinner up with us and enjoyed the view. Paxton wanted to walk all by himself, we let him for a little while but we were starving so Rem carried him the rest of the way. It was beautiful up there, we need to do more things like this!
Duck Ponds
Paxton and I try to go to different parks for our walks in the morning. One of his favorites is the duck ponds. We saw TONS of baby ducks when we went, they were so cute. Of course we have to bring bread with us so we can feed them!
Bowling
This was Paxton's first time bowling and he even got 2 strikes! He loved pushing the ball down the ramp and he was very good about cheering on Mom and Dad. Rem and I hadn't been bowling in a very long time and we both were shocked that we both got strikes on our first bowl! I beat Rem with, I think a 114, he wasn't too happy about that ;)
Aquarium
Once again we went to the Aquarium. We took Paxton's Great Grandma Soderberg with us, it was her first time going, she loved it! Paxton acted like he owned the place and just took off where he wanted to go (we've been there so many times). He was cute with his GG, he even held her hand with no prompting at all, I almost got it on camera.
Tracy Aviary
I don't ever remember coming here as a kid, so this was new for me too. It was fun to walk around and see the birds, especially to watch Paxton enjoying it.
We have been swimming a couple of times (no pictures) and I am sad to say that Paxton does not like it! I think it's an independence thing. He likes to go swimming, but just play on the stairs where he can touch. If I take him out where he can't touch he is clinging on to me even though he is wearing his life jacket. I hope to take him swimming lots this summer in hopes to get him to like it!
We are having a fun summer so far! And we are excited to leave in a week to California with my whole family to play on the beach and go to SeaWorld and more!
