Wasatch Mountain State Park
My parents were camping in Wasatch Mountain State Park in Heber so the kids and I went and visited them for a day. We hung out at the camp spot for a bit then went on a side by side ride, did some exploring and then went and got ice cream. When we got back we tested out their electric bikes and scooter and went for a ride around the campground. Then my mom had to go back home so we stayed with my dad for the evening. He took us on another side by side ride just through the town this time and we went out to dinner. We hung out at camp a little longer and then headed home.
Happy 4th of July
I took Paxton and Graham to the Murray parade. Harper was still asleep so Rem brought her once she woke up. We got to sit with friends and the kids had fun collecting candy off the street. Pax loved that he got to see the Jazz bear!
We hung out most of the day with our next door neighbors. We ate yummy food, played in the water, watched Sand Lot in their backyard, saw a few fireworks and went for a few rides on Ryan's make shift four wheeler trailer with camp chairs. We are so lucky to have such awesome neighbors!

Harper got so excited about the fireworks and cute Jules kept snuggling with Rem, we were all laughing that she chose him over anyone else. He loved it because it made Harper a bit jealous so she'd want to snuggle him too.

Starting some Halloween projects a little too early. Harper wanted to get in on the action.

Visiting Rem's 100 year old grandma while she was in rehab for a fall she had that broke her femur. She amazed us how well she came out of this considering her age and break.
I finally gave in to letting Rem and our neighbor Ryan tear out the trees that were in between our houses. They had wanted to do it for a long time, but I loved having the trees there for shade and they were great climbing trees for the kids. But one of them was in the way when we bought our new trailer and we couldn't get the trailer past it to put on the side of the house. And the way the trees all grew around in to each other, you couldn't just take down one. We also had a huge pine tree removed at the same time. Then we cemented the area where the trees came down to our property line to widen our driveway. The kids wanted to eat their breakfast outside so they could watch.

Ryan finally finished his trailer with benches instead of the camp chairs. The kids loved going for rides around the neighborhood!
24th of July float preview
We took the kids and some friends to see the 24th of July float preview. This was definitely the way to see the floats. It was nice to go at a decent hour and not have to wake up super early for the parade, we got to see the floats up close and really see them and they were even passing out some candy.
Down Pour
One of my young women girls got married in her aunt and uncles backyard that lives super close to us. It was a beautiful ceremony, but as we were waiting for the dinner tables and food to get set up there was a crazy down pour! We all huddled on the deck and then we had to move inside because the roof started leaking there was so much rain. We decided to run home to check on the kids because we left Paxton babysitting and the internet was down so we had no way of calling him. We booked it home through the pouring rain and got completely soaked. We called down to the kids that had no idea it was even raining and they joined us outside playing in the rain.

Happy 24th of July
For the 24th we got together at my parents house with my whole family and rented a big blow up water slide. The kids were so excited! We all brought yummy food to share and enjoyed each others company. At one point Dan had a bunch of the kids doing a relay race which of course included running up the stairs and flying down the slide. Then all the dads started going down the slide to see who could get the biggest splash while someone else stood at the bottom to see how soaked they got from the splash. We had a great day and that evening instead of bringing fireworks to light off, Trev brought some glow sticks and these things you could sling shot into the air and they lit up. We turned on some music and hung out in the backyard. We had such a great time!

These two are such cute little friends. It was so darling watching them push their strollers for a walk.
