Murray Park
Another fun day at the river with a couple of neighbor friends. I brought my water shoes this time and walked around in the water with Harper.
I love this picture of her. She was pointing at all the bubbles that were floating by. She loved walking through the water.

Bear Lake
We planned a trip to Bear Lake with my family before the pandemic hit, which ended up being a perfect vacation for this year. We rented a nice home that was right in Garden City. My grandma Moss came too. She did so good on the trip. We love having her around.
The first night we took the kayaks and paddle boards out to the lake. When we booked our dates, we didn't realize it was over raspberry days so everything was so busy. Luckily we found this rocky beach and had it mostly to ourselves. The next day, we went super early to get a beach spot at North beach. We kayaked, played in the sand and went boating! The kids had an absolute blast just playing in the sand with their cousins. Right before we left the beach I got to go on a little boat ride and Paxton and Harper and a few of the kids came with. They had already put the tube away so we just went for a ride and then Paxton, Kaleb, and I all jumped in the water for a little swim. That night we went and got pizza at the Bear Trapper. Later that evening Rem, Jamie and Dan went out for a scooter/one wheel ride and came back with a little tiny bunny. We named him Timmy and he was so cute. Well unfortunately, he didn't eat or drink much and died the next night. It was so sad! Dan was determined to find some goats milk for it, but didn't get it in time.
On Sandee's birthday, which was on a Sunday Rem, Graham, Harper and I went to visit some neighbor friends that have a cabin in Bear Lake. Paxton and everyone else went on a short hike. They had fun climbing on the trees and exploring. We hung out the rest of the day played games, relaxed, played volleyball and went on a UTV ride.
On Monday, the beach wasn't as busy so we took our time getting to the beach. We spent a long time there. I got to ride on the boat and went on the tube with my sisters and the babies. They weren't so sure of it, but we went really slow. Then it was time for the mamas to have some fun. First Erika and Sandee went and then Jamie and I. Dan drove the boat super crazy trying to kick us off the tube and he succeeded! It was super fun though, the water was so nice and warm. I wanted to just float out on the water for a bit. That evening we roaster marshmallows around the fire pit.
The whole trip was awesome. And of course we got raspberry shakes every day we were there, yum! It was so great to hang out with my family and make good memories with them!
First Day of School
It has felt like a really long summer and I think we are ready for this day. Paxton may be on the fence about it though, but he's excited to see his friends. And we are all happy and grateful for these kids to return to in person school and hope that it lasts! They have both been good about wearing masks and I made them some fun ones to help them be excited about it.

Paxton started 5th grade and has Mrs. DeMann as his main teacher, but she co teaches with Mrs. Curtis as well and she's pregnant so he will get a sub this winter for a couple months. He was bummed that he didn't get put in the 5th/6th split, but he has some friends in his class so that's good.

Graham started 2nd grade and has Mrs. Vyuk, a very well liked teacher. He was super excited to start school and meet his teacher and see all of his friends.
Summit Splash Water Park
Also known as Seven Peaks water park. We had a pass that was about to expire to the water park so we went with Jamie and her family and played at the kiddie pools, wave pool, lazy river and finally I got Paxton to go on a tube slide towards the end of the day and he ended up loving it, but only got to go twice because he fought it for so long all day. Then I finally got Graham to go on the racer slides on our very last slide of the day and he loved it also and wanted to go again, but everyone was ready to go. Those silly kids fighting it all day, being scared of it and then they love it. I guess I need to just force it from the very beginning.
The Zoo
Erika had a zoo pass and invited Harper and I to join them one day. We took the girls in their little pink cars instead of strollers and we loved walking around and enjoying the animals. I love being at the zoo especially with my little Harper.

More Murray Park
More friends and more playing in the water. We love this place!

Happy birthday Jake!
Jake had his birthday party with just family up at the family cabin. We had a great time going on a ride, eating a Minecraft dinner and hanging out.

Harper loves the guinea pigs!! She actually does pretty good with them.
