We went swimming with our neighbors, the Suprises. Yes it is winter, but we were anxious to get out of the house.
Skiing
Paxton has some pretty awesome aunts! Erika came and picked up Paxton for his first time skiing. They went with Jamie and her two kids, Lucy and Lincoln. It was Lucy's 3rd time and Lincoln's first time. They went to Sundance Resort to take advantage of the free toll rope. They said Paxton took to it really fast! By his third time down he was doing it all on his own and him and Lucy went countless times down together. When he got home he told me how much he loved it and he was ready for something harder! I was proud of him for going, sometimes he has a hard time trying new things.
Sorenson Family Christmas Party
We celebrated later than normal so we could get everyone together. This year we got together at the Kimballs club house in their neighborhood. It was nice to have a bigger place to get together because this family is getting large! We did breakfast for dinner and it was delicious! Rach made her yummy french toast berry casserole. After dinner we exchanged gifts and some of the kids did some cookie decorating. Grandma painted all the kids some rocks and put them in their own box with their names on it. Graham especially loved it!
Wrestling
We have had so much fun watching these boys wrestle. Paxton is learning so much and he got his first pin and is first win in a match and came so close to winning another. He placed 3rd again. Graham is loving it and had some really good moves, but not quite enough to place. The kids he wrestled seemed a little bigger and a little more experienced. He still had a good time though.
Harper 10 months old
Aquarium with Cousins
We went one last time to the Aquarium before our pass expired. It's always fun going with cousins!
Cabin sledding
We went up to our family cabin with my family the first day and celebrated Lucy Tervort's birthday with sledding, a yummy dinner and of course a cake! Then everyone went home and we stayed the night. The next day some of the Sorenson family came up and joined us for more sledding! It was such a great time! Harper wasn't totally sure of her snowsuit that she could barely move in, but she seemed to enjoy the small sledding hill.
Utes basketball
We sure love going and cheering on the Utes! It's fun to take Paxton to basketball games with him being super interested in basketball right now. We are so lucky to have grandpa invite us to go.
Jack, Harper & Jo
Sure love these 3 cute cousin babies! And they sure are loved by their grandpa!
