The Ranch
We LOVE going to the Ranch, it's our favorite! We didn't think we'd be able to go this year, a lot of the dates were getting filled up and we can only schedule it 60 days in advance to get the family discount. Then one day I checked the calendar and someone must've canceled their trip because there was an opening! We snatched it up with only 3 weeks until we left so we just started inviting pretty much everyone we knew. It ended up being some of Rem's family; his parents, brother Russ and brother Randy and my sister in law Sandee with her kids (my brother couldn't come) and also some neighborhood friends; the Coons family, the Gonzalez family and the Westenskow family.
Going in the fall time is so pretty! We had pretty decent weather while we were there. It was a little chilly but it was perfect for swimming in the warm pool and bundling up for rides, going for walks, shooting guns, feeding the horses and touring the town. We also spent lots of time just relaxing, chatting and one of my favorites, playing games. We can't wait to go again!

Paxton's flag football
Paxton had a fun flag football season with some of his friends from school. He loves it when family comes to his game to support him.
Leaves!
We get so many leaves from our trees and Graham loves to jump and play in them! Such a fun and beautiful time of year!
Our Halloween House
Rem has made our house so fun for Halloween! I do have to admit that I don't like the time and money spent on it, but I do love the end product. And the boys absolutely love it and go outside almost every night before bed to listen to the music and look around. We also get people daily driving by the house to see it. It was listed in the news again as one of the houses to go see this Halloween.
Scarecrow Festival
We went to Thanksgiving Points Scarecrow Festival with the Tervorts. It was nice just to get outside and go for a walk while being entertained by some cool scarecrows. There were all different kinds from movies and such, my favorite was the Michael Jackson one.
Paxton is such a good cousin to his younger cousins, they just adore him.
Go Utes!
My dad had some extra tickets and invited me and the boys to a Utes Football game. I love going to one football game per season as long as it's good weather and at a decent time of day. I had fun getting the boys ready for the game and doing some face paint.
Sorenson Halloween Party
We invited Rems family over for Sunday dinner and had all the kids wear their Halloween costumes. The Kimballs forgot their costumes so luckily we had some masks they could wear. It was fun to see the kids in their costumes.
Happy Birthday to Me and Dan!
With my sisters husbands birthday being on the same day as mine, sometimes we celebrate together. We tried going to Top Golf but they had an event going on so we went out to dinner first, tried Top Golf again when their event was over but then it was too busy so we went bowling instead. We had a lot of fun! Dan and Rem are holding bowling balls while Jamie and I are holding our baby bellies.
Trick or Treat at Dad's Work
Every year I take the kids to Rems office to go Trick or Treating. His work does a competition on who has the best decorations. Some of the teams go all out and it's a lot of fun for the kids and adults to see what they come up with. Rem normally would love to be a part of this, but his team isn't really into it all that much and he doesn't want to do it alone. So he didn't even try this year.
Witches Night Out
I love doing girls night with my friends. We had a blast at Gardner Village! It was fun to see everyone dressed up, do some shopping and watch a few of my friends compete in the best witch cackle. They were awesome!
Pumpkin Patch
We took the kids and some of their friends, the Goodmans, to the pumpkin patch to pick out some pumpkins to carve and some to decorate the yard with. I love this time of year and seeing all the pumpkins! We even got to go through a cornstalk maze!
Friend Halloween Party
The Goodmans always have a fun Halloween party with a ton of friends from the ward/neighborhood. This year for the game they did a 2 truths and a lie and we had to guess everyone's lie.
GG Soderberg
We made a quick trip to visit GG Soderberg just before going to GG Moss' Halloween Party so the boys were already dressed up. She just finishing up her dinner when we came in. A lot of the residents loved seeing the kids in their costumes so I walked around the tables with them to say hi to some of them. Hopefully we cheered some of them up. GG sure loved seeing us there!

Another family fun Halloween party in the books. This year we chose to dress up as The Nightmare Before Christmas. Graham is Jack Skellington (I found his costume a couple years ago at a thrift store and had to use it this year or he would've grown out of it), Paxton and I and my pregnant belly are Lock, Shock and Barrel (Jack's sidekicks) and Rem is Santy Clause being captured.
It was a lot of fun being with family and seeing all my cousins. My grandma is so awesome to still be doing this party.

After dinner we carved pumpkins. I usually gut them all and Rem carves them. I try to get our kids to pull out the pumpkin guts and they don't like the slime feeling.

Halloween night is always super fun! It's always a toss up on whether it's more fun to take the kids trick or treating or stay home and pass out candy at our super fun Halloween house. This year my parents came over and passed out candy while Rem and I both took the kids out. We joined up with our neighbors, the Suprises. It was a lot of fun and of course we had to go check out our friends house, the Goodmans, they put on a pretty good haunted walk through in their garage.
After a while I decided to go back and be with my parents. Rem had made this big wooden scare box this year that when you push a button it would open and close quickly making a slamming noise. My dad was having such a great time scaring all these kids! He asked me if I wanted to take over handing out the candy and I said no, I just wanted to watch him do it, he was getting a kick out of it which was making me laugh.
When the kids got home from trick or treating, they joined in on all the fun. Paxton hid in the bushes and loved jumping out to scare people. He was sweet to not scare the young kids.
