A couple of days before Christmas, Paxton and I went to Elk Ridge to hangout with Uncle Dan and Aunt Jamie. I taught Jamie how to make rolls from scratch, then we went with Dan's family to see a movie.
It was a really cute movie, but not something you would take a one year old to. Paxton kept asking for the animals and I had to keep telling him "they'll be here soon". The only thing that saved me was bringing in Paxton's carseat.
One of my friends told me that she did this, so I thought I would give it a try and it was the best thing ever! He didn't once ask to get out of his seat and I know had he not been in his carseat, he would have been all over the place and driving me crazy. So thanks for the tip Melissa, I will be doing this again no matter how dumb I felt carrying the carseat into the theater.
After the movie, Paxton was acting crazy with his uncle Dan, it was fun watching these two together.
Then afterwards we went and drove around to look at some lights. To see more pics, click here.
I love looking at lights, especially when I can stay in my warm car. It was fun also to see Paxton enjoying all the lights.
Thanks for having us over Jamie and Dan, we had a lot of fun!
