Paxton caught a SICK bug :(
On Wednesday (Feb. 16) I decided that we needed to take Paxton to the Pediatrician.
Two weeks before this Paxton had cold symptoms for about 2 weeks and then he broke out in a fever and a rash when I finally took him in and the doctor said that he's been through the worst of it, but he put him on an antibiotic to help clear the rest of it up. Just about as soon as Paxton was done taking his antibiotic he started getting cold symptoms again and a few days later broke out into a fever, so that's when we decided to take him in so we could get things cleared up quicker.
Well it turned out worse than I thought. His oxygen levels were low and they had him doing breathing treatments. They sent us home with a nebulizer to do treatments every 4 hours. It was so sad, he hated that thing!
After fighting about 4 treatments, he gave up and just layed there. Sometimes he even helped us hold it on his face :) After a few days of breathing treatments he started to get better!
The ONLY one thing positive about having a sick baby is how cuddly they are. I love to snuggle with this sweet baby!
We are so glad to have Paxton healthy again, he is much happier!

Jack had to do a nebulizer a few months ago, too. Miserable! Does Pax have asthma? We still don't know exactly why Jack had the breathing treatments - they think it was either a strange virus that attacked his lungs or asthma. I'm glad Pax is feeling better - hopefully he won't have to go through that again!

So sad! What a sweet little boy! Hope he comes through fast!
