Sacramento, California

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
It's been 3 years!
March 31st No wonder I'm starting to look so old, I've got gray hair and everything!
Just kidding- I've got this feature on my camera that you can take a black and white photo and pick one color to stand out. Well we didn't realize this feature was on when we took this picture. Well I guess I don't ever have wonder what I look like with gray hair.
SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA TEMPLE

Remi and I made a goal that for every Anniversary we would go to a different temple and do sealings. I hope that we will be able to always keep this goal! Sacramento Temple was beautiful! It was just dedicated in 2006.

This story is proof to show that Satan is always working on us, trying to get us to do the wrong thing.
Remi and I purposely made sure our hotel was near the temple-10 minute drive. Well we had an appointment saturday morning at 10:00 and we left 45 minutes early thinking we had plenty of time. Well it took us 1 1/2 hours to get there. Right off the same exit and the exact same way we needed to turn, there was a car dealership that was doing Deal or No Deal auditions, the traffic was insane! We tried turning a different way because we could see the temple straight ahead, but it just led us driving through praire lands, so we finally turned around and just waited it out through the traffic. It was worth the wait, it was a beautiful temple and we enjoyed our time spent there.

THE SACRAMENTO ZOO
(no not the San Diego zoo)
This zoo was just a small zoo, but we hadn't been in forever and we thought it would be fun to go see the animals, and it was alot of fun!

PENGUINS

TIGERS
GIRAFFE'S
KANGAROO'S?
FLAMINGO'S
(the two looking at eachother were fighting)

THE AMERICAN RIVER

We took a nice sunday walk near the river.
We got a little bored...
We were skipping rocks and throwing rocks into the river. We actually had alot of fun, just enjoying eachothers company!

JELLY BELLY FACTORY
We drove to Fairfield and went to the Jelly Belly Factory. It was alot of fun, but we were a little disappointed because they were having inventory, so the machines were not up and running. But we were still able to take a tour and watch video's on how it all worked, it was quite interesting!
They even had flavors like moldy cheese, vomit, pencil shavings, toothpaste, and baby wipes. GROSS! The top 3 flavors were 1.Cherry 2.Licorice 3.Butter Popcorn I only like the cherry out of those three. But I think my favorite would have to be the Pina Colada and Remi's is the Red Apple.

FRISBEE GOLF
Then we drove into Napa Valley (where Remi served his mission). Napa is gorgeous! I loved all the hills and the vineyards, and everything was green!

The course had tons of hills, it wore me out! And at one of the holes, I threw my frisbee and it curved to the left and rolled all the way down the hill, it was a huge hill! Luckily there was a guy down there, so we just asked him to throw it back up to us.
Sacramento was alot of fun! It's really nice to go on vacation with just the two of us and have no video games, no chores around the house, and no nagging :) It really made us realize how much we are still so in love and love spending time with one another! I think we should go on vacations more often!!
