talk talk talk

Here are just some fun pictures of this cute boy...

"let me see your cheese face"

I love this kids personality!  He is so funny and he knows it.  He laughs at himself all the time.

Paxton is talking a ton!  He just keeps on adding more and more words to his vocabulary.
Here are some of his words and sounds...

More words he knows:

nose, hair, eye, rabbit, glasses, teeth, belly, button, basket, book

and some more animals sounds he knows:

chicken, bird, rooster, snake, pig, cow, owl

I know there is more words and sounds he know but this is all I can think of right now.  If you ask Paxton to say something he will almost always try and say it.  Now we have to be careful  what we say because he copies us so much.

For example:  Paxton loves to dance and so sometimes we sing "Shake Shake Shake!  Shake your Booty, Shake your Booty"  and Paxton will copy us but it comes out "Booby"  :)

I loved doing Jamie's hair for her wedding, she looked so pretty.

I loved her colors, it fit Jamie's personality perfect.
She was married in the Timpanogos Temple and the reception was at the Bungalow in American Fork.

Paxton was a trooper.  It was a long day starting at the temple at 9:30 am and ending at the reception at 10:00 pm.  He probably took 3 or 4 naps that day- all cut short of course because we were moving from one place to the next.  He got his groove on on the dance floor and flirted with all the ladies.  He got so used to saying 'HI' to everyone that half the time we didn't even need to tell him to do so.  It was a really fun day!

mother i love you

I feel so lucky to be a mom to such a sweet little boy, it's the BEST thing in the world!

On the Saturday before Mother's Day it was Birth Mother's Day so we went and celebrated with Paxton's AWESOME birth mom.

Thank you Ciara for being such a good and selfless person with such a big heart.  And thank you for making me a mom!!
We had a good time just hangin' out and talking.  Cute little Addison (who is now 5!) was so cute with Paxton, they had alot of fun together.

Then on Sunday, we were invited over to my Aunt's house for dinner.

I just have to say that I have the BEST mom ever, she is my best friend and such a great example to me and I hope to become more like her one day.  Love you Mom!

Hope everyone had a Happy Mother's Day.
And I send my love to those who wish to become a Mother.

Sunshine!!!

Last minute we decided to go to Sunny Saint George with my parents and sister for Easter break.  We were so glad we went with all this crummy weather we have been getting here.

(warning: LONG post with tons of pictures and video's)

We put Paxton forward facing in the car so he could watch movie's.  He had the comfiest seat in the car.  I love how he crosses his feet.

Erika shared her head phones with Paxton and this is what he did...

I love his dance moves!

We stayed at my Grandma's place .  Paxton LOVED the golf cart!  We took him for rides in it everyday, a couple of times a day around the neighborhoods and to see the ducks.
He loved it so much that sometimes when we were done and you took him out, he would start fussing.

Paxton ate the bread instead of feeding the ducks.

On one of the days we went on an early morning hike.  It was so beautiful and nobody was out on the trail but us.

We also went golfing.  Paxton had a blast tagging along for the ride.  He even had his own set of plastic golf clubs.  Erika and I had fun playing scramble, we played a pretty good game.  I surprised myself with how well I did especially for not going in a long time.  (Remi and my Dad played also and my Mom watched Paxton most of the time).

And we did LOTS of swimming!!!

On the way to swimming...

wrinkly feet

And on the way home he zonked out and the pool was less than 2 minutes away from where we were staying.

And we had a Happy Easter!

Can't wait to visit again!

If you ever drive to St. George...

you must stop in Scipio
We got to pet the... rabbits

and the sheep

we didn't pet the chicken

we did pet the ducks

even an emu

the donkeys stayed put

we also pet a zebra and some ponies (not pictured)

but the best of all was the
2 week old baby goats

they were so soft!

(eating Paxton's zipper)

We actually stopped here twice.  Once on the way to St. George and these pictures are on the way home.  I didn't get any pictures from the first trip because my camera died, but Remi and Erika got to feed the baby goats some milk out of bottles, it was so cute.  Too bad those goats didn't stay cute like that- we were all tempted to take one home as a pet!

The Zoo

We were so excited to take Paxton to the Zoo since he has been learning a ton of his animal sounds.

He knows what an elephant says, but he wouldn't do it.

Rem brought his sketch book to draw the animals.  This monkey climbed right over to him like he was watching what he was doing.

Aunt 'KaKa' (Erika) came with us.

ROAR!!

The giraffe's tongue was sooooo long!!

It was fun to watch Paxton make some of the animal noises...

Doesn't he look so cute in his tiger hat?!  He roar's whenever he see's it.
